“Maybe you’ve been thinking about therapy for a while but never really knew how to begin.”

Take Your Tiny Brave Step Now…

How Online Sessions Work

1. Tell us a little about yourself

Fill out a short form and share what has brought you here.

2. We'll find the right therapist for you

Based on what you share, we'll connect you with a therapist who may be the best fit for your needs

3. Let's have a conversation first

Your therapist will reach out on WhatsApp and schedule a brief 10–15 minute call. This is a space to ask questions, understand how therapy works, and see if it feels right for you.

4. Begin your therapy journey

You and your therapist can choose a time that works for both of you and begin the journey one conversation at a time.

Sometimes, people come to therapy with thoughts that have been sitting quietly in the background for a long time.

  • I overthink every conversation after it’s over
  • I’m exhausted all the time, even when I haven’t done much.
  • I want to rest without feeling guilty
  • I feel lonely even when I’m around people.
  • Small things affect me for days
  • Nothing is technically wrong… but I don’t feel okay.
  • I don’t even know if my problems are serious enough for therapy
  • I don’t know how to explain what I’m feeling
  • I’m nervous this is going to feel awkward.

Know about the organisation

Welcome to Tiny Brave Steps: a mental health space built on warmth, honesty, and care.

We offer gentle, trauma-informed support for people navigating the ups and downs of life

We created Tiny Brave Steps with the belief that no one should have to go through difficult things alone.

We wanted mental health support to feel more human – less about “fixing” someone and more about having a space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you are.

We know change and healing don’t happen overnight. Sometimes they happen quietly – in small moments of honesty, showing up, feeling understood, or allowing yourself to ask for help.

At Tiny Brave Steps, we walk alongside you at your own pace.

And through every small step forward, we want you to know that it counts.

Why We Are Here

We know that talking about your emotions, experiences, or struggles is not always easy. Sometimes it’s difficult to explain what you’re feeling, and sometimes you may not even fully understand it yourself.

That’s why we wanted to create a space where you can show up as you are – without pressure, judgment, or the need to have the “right” words.

For us, therapy is not about having all the answers. It’s about feeling heard, understood, and supported while making sense of things at your own pace.

We’re here to listen, support, and walk alongside you through the difficult, meaningful, uncertain, and growing parts of your journey.

Because even the smallest steps deserve care and acknowledgement.

What We Dream Of

We dream of a world where asking for emotional support feels natural and accessible – not something people feel hesitant, ashamed, or scared to reach out for.

A world where therapy feels more human, more approachable, and a normal part of understanding ourselves and caring for our emotional well-being.

We hope to create spaces and communities where people feel safe being themselves, where growth is not rushed or hidden, and where people feel seen without judgment.

Where even the smallest steps are acknowledged with kindness and care.

Because sometimes, small steps can be incredibly brave.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Will sessions be online or offline?

At the moment, all our therapy sessions are conducted online.

While we deeply value the connection that in-person therapy can offer, we’ve found online sessions to be far more convenient and sustainable for most clients. They allow therapy to fit more naturally into your day, without needing to plan your entire schedule around it. Meaningful work can absolutely happen from the comfort of your own space.

Q. What are the charges of the session?

We offer our sessions within a fixed fee range, and you can choose what you would like to pay within that range. We understand that therapy can be a significant financial commitment, and this is one way we try to make support more accessible, while also giving you agency in deciding what feels sustainable for your current circumstances.

Q. Can I select my own therapist?

You don’t choose a therapist directly. We thoughtfully match you with a therapist based on the concerns you’re bringing into therapy. We consider their experience, therapeutic style, and areas of expertise to ensure you’re paired with someone best suited to support you. Our intention is to help you find the best possible fit so you feel supported, understood, and able to build a meaningful therapeutic relationship from the start.

Q. Cancellation policy

Therapy slots are limited and reserved in advance for a mutually agreed session time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session time will incur a 50% session fee. Cancellations made within 90 minutes of the session time, as well as missed sessions, will be charged at 100% of the session fee. In exceptional or unforeseen circumstances, clients may request a same-day rescheduling, which may be accommodated at no extra cost, subject to therapist availability.

Q. Why do we take emergency contact information and when do we contact them?

We collect an emergency contact as part of our intake process to support client safety and responsible care. This information is only used in situations where there is a serious concern about your immediate safety or wellbeing, and we are unable to reach you directly. This includes situations of acute risk, or when a client is located in regions experiencing heightened vulnerability, such as war zones, areas affected by political instability, or regions experiencing frequent natural disasters or calamities, where additional safety considerations may be necessary.

Q. What do we mean by consent and confidentiality in therapy sessions?

Consent means you have the right to understand and agree to the therapy process, every step of the way. Confidentiality means that what you share in therapy is kept private and protected, and will not be disclosed without your permission, except in specific situations where there is serious risk of harm to yourself or others, or when disclosure is required by law.

In such situations, we will make every reasonable effort to inform you before any steps are taken, including contacting your emergency contact if necessary.

Q. Do I need to be prepared for sessions?

A: Not at all. You don’t need to come with the right words, a plan, or even clarity about what you want to say. You can simply come or show up as you are. We’ll take it from there, together.
